We have experience completing LiDAR scans and 3d models for; new site development, structures pre and post demolition, monitoring structures from movement, Visual Effects (VFX) models for production, Volumetric Analysis for Stockpile and Mining Assets, and golf courses for marketing and advertising. Beach Property
Volo Pervidi was hired to perform a sight line analysis for a vacant property to showcase how a large retail facility would look from the driving corridors. The property owner wanted to showcase that with the proper grading and site planning a large retail facility would be viewable from the Interstate. To create the model we used a combination of Aerial LiDAR from drone, Mobile LiDAR, Aerial Photogrammetry, and Aerial Photography.
The raw data set was then brought into a number of software suites, rough grading at various parts of the site were modeled, some of the immediate existing structures were modeled, and the new “red box” facility representing the proposed building was introduced. The client asked us not render the actual intended user as their plans at the time were still confidential. The linked video highlights the process from beginning to end.
